Marcus Schroeder, Princeton

Marcus was a mainstay at Excel from elementary school through high school. He was the Team Captain
and spiritual leader of the De La Salle State Championship team in 2006. An amazing floor general with
a great understanding of the game, he was known as a "big-play" guy. To put the finishing touch on his
stellar high school career, he won the Bruce Wilhelmy Scholarship and Leadership Award at DLS. Marcus made an instant impact at Princeton, leading the country in minutes played, averaging 38.8 minutes per game. He wsa Princeton's leading scorer in Ivy League games and finished his career tied for fourth in program history with 156 career steals and fifth with 295 career assists. His 7 steals vs. Wagner is the second highest total in Princeton History. Today, Marcus is a college basketball coach at Saint Mary's College.
