Kevin Conroy-King’s College

Kevin Conroy in Action at Kings College

Kevin was an Excel standout from the time he was in elementary school. The Chatham, NJ resident spent many a summer at Excel honing his skills before becoming a standout player at Chatham High School. The 6’5” Forward went on to Kings College where he had an amazing career where he started all four years and was a three time All-Freedom Conference performer. Had a career high of 41 points (7th best in Monarch’s History) versus Delaware Valley in his junior year. In his spectacular senior season, he was named to the the second team of the 2011 National Basketball Coaches Association All-Middle Regional Squad while averagaing 19.6 points per game and 5.7 rebounds. The sharpshooting wing man used his BLESH Technique to score in double figures in 24 of 25 games. He finished his career as the seventh all-time leading scoring in King’s history with 1,437 points. To top off his illustrious career, he was the MVP of the Pepsi-Weis Tip-Off Tournament at Susquehanna University and the MVP of the PNC/Ramada Inn Classic at King’s.

What Excel meant to me: “I owe so much of my high school and collegiate success to Excel. The tireless use of BLESH as well as the “Pistol Series” Ballhandling Drills enabled me to be a complete basketball players. I will always have a special place in my heart for Excel."
