Joe See, Santa Barbara

Joe See, Santa Barbara

Joe was a great player at Excel in his formative years. A lights out shooter, Joe went to De La Salle where he stepped into the starting lineup five games into his freshman year...and the rest is history. Joe averaged 19.3 ppg, 6.3 assists per game and shot over 50% from the three point line. His greatest "make" however was the two free throws he hit with 2.7 seconds to go to defeat the 40-1 Clovis West Golden Eagles in the State Championship game. See was a three time Bay Valley Athletic League MVP and ended up with a high school winning record of 110-9. Joe accepted a scholarship to Oregon State University where he averaged 24 minutes per game as a freshman. With a coaching change at OSU, Joe transferred to Santa Barbara where he was one of the top shooters in the Big West Conference as a combo guard.
