Carey Schueler, De Paul University

Carey and her sister were terrors on the courts of Excel. An amazing athlete, Carey always stepped
 up her game against the best competition. Carey went on to Campolindo High School where she was California State High School Basketball Player of the Year while being named a McDonald's All-American.
She was California State Freshman of the Year, Sophomore of the Year, four times All League and three times MVP. She holds the Campo scoring record with 2300 points. She began her college career at DePaul University and finished at St. Mary's with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Management. Carey was chosen
in the 43rd round as the first woman ever chosen in the Major League Baseball Draft in 1993.
